Description: On the 17th August 2017, JPIC Loreto Convent Shillong had collected 70 saplings of fruit trees and flowering trees from the Forest and Environment department and 100 saplings were planted by the school girls in their respective places. The 70 saplings were planted around the school campus by our Principal Sr. Mercia D’Souza, Sr. Badarilin Majhong, JPIC team, school coordinators and the students. So far 700 trees have been planted in Shillong.
