On the 9th of June 2025, eight students from classes VI- IX participated in the event, "Rhyme of the 7Rs Waste Fair," which was organised by the Meghalaya State Pollution Control Board & Big FM in State Convention Centre. Tourism Minister of Meghalaya , Mr Paul Lyngdoh was the Chief Guest and Mr Ranjit Singh Gill,
Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Head of Forest Force Meghalaya as the Guest of Honour. The core theme of the event, was the "7Rs for a Greener Tomorrow," listing the 7Rs as "Rethink, Refuse, Reduce, Reuse, Regift, Repair, Recycle"
The programme opened with an exhibition showcasing various models by the different Schools. This provided a deeper understanding in fostering environmental consciousness and practical solutions in the region.
