Description: The students of Class VIII A and VIII B along with their class teachers and assistant teachers went for their educational tour on the 6th of April 2024 to Krem Tirot in Nongkhlaw. On arrival the students and teachers were taken by local guides to Krem Siej Tyra where the great Khasi Freedom Fighter Tirot Sing along with his troops hid. This cave is about 100 meters long and has a beautiful room in it. The other cave was Krem Pyrda where Tirot Sing and his troop of soldiers fought against the British soldiers and till date there is evidence such as a staircase and stone door. It was a great learning experience for the students seeing these two caves.
