A Thanksgiving Eucharistic Celebration was held at Loreto Convent Shillong on the 5th of November, 2025 in the School Hall. The Mass was celebrated by Archbishop Most Rev Victor Lyngdoh. It was held to commemorate the merger of the two Congregations ie, the Congregation of Jesus and The Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary IBVM into becoming one congregation as they continue to honour the legacy and charism of its foundress Vulnerable Mary Ward.
The Mass was attended by the Priests and Sisters of different Congregations and five CJ Sisters from other States. Both Teaching and Non Teaching Staff, the Student Council, well wishers and invited guests were also present.
