The broad objective of the Loreto Child Protection Policy is to ensure that practice of highest levels of Child Protection in the Loreto institutions and which is adhered to by all involved. It seeks to ensure that all the institutions offer a safe environment for children which can be achieved by introducing minimum standards and procedures which include a set of robust preventive measures to curb the occurrence of abuse, and a well-defined and easily accessible reporting mechanism for violations and a time-bound redressal system to ensure immediate, prompt and effective corrective measures in the event of any incidents arising.
